i've been expirementing with different combinations of inks in my rapidographs. this one kind of ink - higgins - will often kind of seperate once it's laid down, like the color with drift to the edges of the ink as it dries. this is probably because it's shitty ink made with non-lightfast dyes. been trying to exploit this tendency, since rapidographs can lay ink down in a fluid mass due to their flow capacity, while at the same time maintaining a great deal of precision and control from the small nib size. here i was playing with a mixture of green, lemon and russet ink all in one pen. i like the variation of color that reveals itself when the ink seperates.
